Dr. Doug Gray grew up in the small town of Escalon, CA in the San Joaquin Valley. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Humboldt State University in 2003. After working at a veterinary hospital in Modesto, CA for a few years he attended UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated in 2009. After graduation he started working in East Contra Costa County at practices in Brentwood, Antioch, and Lafayette. He has special interest in general surgery and diagnostic imaging.

When not at work, Dr Gray is spending time with his wife, two daughters and their four dachshunds. As a family they all enjoy attending Comic Con, in costume of course, as well as the extracurricular activities of his daughters. He is also a diehard San Francisco 49er fan and can be found at Levi’s Stadium on any given Sunday during the football season.
