Amanda -Technician/Client Relations Specialist. "There is no pyschiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face" (Bern Williams). There has never been truer words, which is why she chose to work in the animal field. Amanda has worked at DBVC since January 2007. She works primarily as a technician but frequently can be found helping up front hence her nickname "the floater". Amanda has 4 dogs that are always ready to lend a sloppy, slimy, cheer up or I love you kiss!. She also has two horses-a teddy bear quarter horse and a cancer survivor pony.
Amy, our Client Relations Specialist has been with us since October 2007. She lives in Brentwood with her husband, has four cats, one cockatiel, two teenagers and 25 koi fish. In her spare time she enjoys getting together with friends, fine dining, playing bunko or bocce ball.
Leanne, has been working at DBVC only a short time but is an experienced emergency hospital technician
who has made a big impact. She is committed to providing extraordinary care to our patients as if they were her own pets. In addition to being the newest member of our team she is also a newlywed, marrying her high-school sweetheart Alex in May. When she's not at work or enjoying the married life you can find her "horsin' around" show jumping with her swedish warmblood "Oz". She also has 2 dogs "Duke" and "Gizmo", a cat "Chester", and a Russian tortoise "Mortina".
Suzy, is our seasoned veteran of 13 years. She is a capable technician and receptionist and has a passion for exotics! Suzy is very artistic and is the "brains" behind our displays. Suzy shares her home with her husband Chris, three active children and a menagerie of pets.
Nanci, has worked at DBVC since September 2001. She started out as a receptionist and is now our office manager for a great group of dedicated people. Nanci has done everything from front office to back office and everything in-between! She loves working at DBVC and says "she has the best job in the world". Nanci has been married to her husband Jim for 27 years and has 2 grown children, Eric 24 and Amy 20. For fun she loves to be in her yard gardening or hanging out with friends and family.. She loves to go sandduning and enjoys movies of all kinds. She loves to read and travel any time she can. Nanci has lived in Brentwood for 20 years and shares her home with 9 cats and a German Shepherd named "Angel". Her love for animals show in her work and play.
